Tenor Dann Coakwell made his solo debut at Carnegie Hall in New York in February 2010 as the lead role of Andrey in the world premiere of Prokofiev’s newly discovered and reconstructed opera act, Dalyekie Morya (Distant Seas), and he is a featured soloist on the 2009 Grammy Award-nominated album A Company of Voices: Conspirare in Concert (Harmonia Mundi records). He has performed as a soloist internationally and stateside with such acclaimed conductors as Helmuth Rilling, Masaaki Suzuki, Matthew Halls, Craig Hella Johnson, and former King’s Singers Simon Carrington and Gabriel Crouch. Mr. Coakwell holds an Artist Diploma in Vocal Performance from Yale University, an MM from Texas Tech University, and a BM from the University of Texas at Austin. www.danncoakwell.com
