Emily Lodine has performed with conductors James Levine, Hugh Wolff, Paul Hillier, Nicholas McGegan, Leonard Slatkin, Jane Glover, John Rutter, and others. A University of Indiana graduate with a bachelor’s in voice and theory, she has sung with the symphonies of Jacksonville, Milwaukee, and Indianapolis; the orchestras of Detroit, South Dakota, Phoenix, and Rochester; Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, Chicago Rembrandt Players, and the Philip Glass Ensemble. A frequent soloist with Music of the Baroque, she is heard on their Vom Himmel Hoch recording. She also received acclaim for her work in the premiere and recording of Jon Polifrone’s Requiem, nominated for a Pulitzer Prize.
