Gitanjali Mathur

Gitanjali Mathur was born in India and immigrated to the United States at the age of eight. She finished her bachelor’s, master’s, and Performer’s Diploma degrees in voice performance at Indiana University-Bloomington, along with minors in mathematics and computer science. Gitanjali has sung solos in Austin, New York, Eugene, Virginia, and Stuttgart and Esslingen, Germany, in works including J.S. Bach’s B-minor Mass and Christmas Oratorio, Haydn’s Messiah and Lord Nelson Mass, and Mozart’s Requiem, Exultate, jubilate, and Waisenhausmesse. In Rome, Gitanjali performed the role of Despina in Così fan tutte by Mozart.
