Pam Elrod’s career has included teaching positions in Austin, New York, Urbana, Atlanta, and at Texas Tech University where for six years she was Assistant Director of Choral Studies. From 1988 to 1999 Pam performed with Robert Shaw, singing and recording with his Festival Singers and Choral Institutes, and with Atlanta’s Symphony Orchestra Chorus and Symphony Chamber Chorus. An active performer, Pam appears as guest artist with numerous university, professional, church, and community choirs throughout the country. She is presently Director of Choral Activities at SMU’s Meadows School of the Arts in Dallas and oversees the graduate program in choral conducting.
