Faith DeBow


Faith DeBow, pianist, has been performing regularly with Conspirare since 2004. She enjoys a vibrant and eclectic career throughout the Central Texas region. Faith has been teaching class piano and accompanying at Texas State University since 2001, where she often plays for faculty and student recitals. She is also a staff accompanist at Trinity University, and music director at Three Rivers Community Church. She is the featured musician at the Laity Lodge retreat center several times a year. Faith earned a master’s degree in accompanying from the Eastman School of Music, where she studied under the Brooks Smith Fellowship, and a bachelor’s degree in piano performance from Butler University. She has had the privilege of performing in over a dozen states and six countries, including Conspirare’s 2008 trip to Copenhagen, Denmark. In June 2010 she will travel to Reykjavik, Iceland to record a CD for Albany Records with Tim Buzbee, principal tuba player of the Iceland Symphony Orchestra. Faith has a wide range of musical interests including singing/songwriting, contemporary music, and popular song of the early 1900′s. She lives in San Marcos, TX.
