A special anniversary edition of the holiday concert you love! Craig Hella Johnson adds new touches to Conspirare’s annual collage of music and poetry, perfectly mixed to contemplate and celebrate, with music as varied as Felix Mendelssohn and Mos Def, Leonard Bernstein and Leonard Cohen, Richard Rogers and Eric Whitacre. You’ll be captivated by Company of Voices and featured artists Charles Wesley Evans, baritone, and Kathlene Ritch, soprano. Craig Hella Johnson will be at the keyboard (and might also sing a few bars!). Featuring Tom Burritt on percussion. Adah Toland Jones on flute.

Conspirare Christmas audience members say:
“For the last four years, I have been amazed at the talent and possible genius of Craig Hella Johnson. How does someone make a quilt of music from this genre and that and make it sound like they were born to be together? Conspirare is a true gem of Austin.”
“The first time my husband and I heard a performance of Christmas at the Carillon, he asked me if we were still in Austin and on earth.”
“During this busy season, it’s nice to be reminded to listen and to breathe. Add to that the sheer beauty of Conspirare, and you have the perfect start to the holiday season.”
