Arvo Pärt

Arvo Pärt

we sing radiance.

Compelling contrasts. Delight in a season finale of music by composers you’ve requested. Hear George Frideric Handel’s dynamic Dixit Dominus and Arvo Pärt’s luminous Berliner Messe, plus American composer Andrew Imbrie’s 1949 setting of Walt Whitman’s poem On the Beach at Night.

Twenty-seven singers from the Company of Voices will be joined by the rich sound of a 26-piece string orchestra. Two contrasting performances will be presented in Austin – come early for the clear light of day, or come late for dramatically lit atmosphere.
