For several years National Public Radio has traced the journey of Robert Kyr’s work Songs of the Soul, written for Conspirare, from inception to its 2011 premiere. The NPR stories have centered on the inspiration Kyr drew from the Monastery of Christ in the Desert in northern New Mexico, where he composed Songs of the Soul. Now NPR’s Tom Huizenga reviews our latest CD Robert Kyr, which includes Songs of the Soul.
