Lauren Vick has been a lover of music for her entire life. Before relocating to Austin, Lauren was a prominent member of the rich choral world of Minneapolis-St. Paul. While in the Twin Cities, Lauren worked with The Rose Ensemble, The Gregorian Singers, and Consortium Carissimi, giving her a chance to fulfill her passion for Early Music. As a member of The Singers: Minnesota Choral Artists, under Dr. Matthew Culloton, Lauren was lucky to explore new works and local composers as well as record, tour multiple years to Chicago’s Ravinia Festival, and sing Rachmaninoff to her heart’s desire! She has sung for The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra Chorale and at the Minnesota Beethoven Festival, both under the direction of Dale Warland, has collaborated with many different music organizations, world-premiered numerous works, and has performed at various ACDA & MNACDA conventions. Lauren has held numerous Section Leader & soloist positions in churches and sang for the St. Olaf Choir & Early Music Singers while studying at St. Olaf College. website
