Anna Park is currently the Assistant Principal cellist of the Austin Symphony. A highly sought after orchestral and chamber musician, Anna has performed with a variety of ensembles such as the Houston Symphony, San Antonio Symphony, International Contemporary Ensemble, the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, and the Artosphere Festival Orchestra. As a chamber musician, she helps create and perform engaging and informative chamber music programs that are presented in schools, libraries, and recreation centers as a way to provide access to high quality classical music to every member of the Austin community.

Anna earned her Bachelor of Music degree from Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore, Maryland and her Master of Music degree from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.  Her primary teachers include Carole Neuen-Rabinowitz, Martha Gerschefski, Alan Stepansky, and Hans Jørgen Jensen. She has performed in masterclasses for Yo-Yo Ma, Matt Haimovitz, Scott Kluksdahl, Amanda Forsyth, and Normal Fischer.

Outside of the concert hall, Anna is focused on inspiring the next generation of young musicians. She maintains an active private studio at her home and works with students from across Austin in chamber music groups through the nonprofit organization CHAMPS (Chamber Music in Public Schools). Anna lives with her husband, Frank, and two dogs, Birdie the lazy collie, and Piper the senior Chihuahua.
