Shari Alise Wilson received her Bachelor of Music Education degree from West Chester University and her Master’s in choral conducting from Temple University in Philadelphia. She has performed with Blue Heron, The Crossing Choir, American Bach Soloists, Ensemble VIII, Exsultemus, Choral Arts Society of Philadelphia, La Donna Musicale, and Seraphic Fire. Shari made her NYC Merkin Hall debut in a world-premiere performance as soprano soloist in Benjamin C.S. Boyle’s cantata “To One in Paradise” where she was praised for her “clear, chamber-like voice.” At the Spoleto Festival (Italy) she worked with Gian Carlo Menotti in Amahl and the Night Visitors and The Saint of Bleeker Street. Shari is heard on the world premiere Blue Heron CD Nicholas Ludford: Missa Regnum mundi and on Kile Smith’s Vespers with Piffaro and The Crossing Choir.
