Gil Zilkha received a Masters in Voice Performance from University of Texas and a J.D. from New York University. He has performed Bach’s St. John Passion, Mass in B minor, and Magnificat, Beethoven’s Mass in C, Dvorak’s Stabat mater, Handel’s Messiah and Judas Maccabeus, Haydn’s Creation and Nelson Mass, Monteverdi’s Vespers of 1610, Mozart’s Requiem, C minor Mass, and Coronation Mass, and Pärt’s Miserere. Gil has performed with Texas Early Music Project and Texas Choral Consort and has recorded a CD, The Art of Lieder. Gil made his Austin Lyric Opera debut as Count Ceprano in Verdi’s Rigoletto.
