A student of contralto Florence Kopleff, Katherine Murray received her Bachelor of Music from Miami University in Ohio and her Master of Music in voice performance from Cleveland Institute of Music. She has recorded with the Grammy® Award-winning Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Choruses and Robert Shaw Festival Singers, and has premiered works for solo voice by Milan Kaderavek and Jacob Avshalomov. Katherine is the former director of Collegium Vocale, a community choir associated with Emory University and has served on Georgia Council for the Arts. She is the choral music teacher at Atlanta’s Paideia School and has received the Loridan Award for teaching.
