Rachel Carlson is an active singer and conductor based in the Washington, DC area. She holds Bachelor’s degrees in both vocal performance and music education from the University of Maryland, as well as a Master’s degree in choral conducting from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She currently performs with Santa Fe Desert Chorale, Tucson Chamber Artists, Washington Bach Consort, Potomac River Chorale, Washington Revels, Woodley Ensemble, and the professional octet at St. Paul’s Rock Creek Parish. In addition, Rachel maintains a private voice studio and directs a community choir in Silver Spring, Maryland.
