Carter Arrington has been fortunate enough to make music with The Crazy World of Arthur Brown, Progger, Peter Rowan, Kirk Covington, David Grissom, Alejandro Escovedo, Malford Milligan, Bernard Purdie, and Col. Bruce Hampton, among others. He received a Jazz Performance degree from the University of Texas at Austin and participated heavily in the Austin music scene from 2006-2018 before moving to the UK. 2022 saw the release of “Gamelan Road,” an album featuring vicious displays of musicianship and fusion compositions with world-class drummer and multi-instrumentalist Kirk Covington. Besides recording and playing live, Carter has been a music educator for many years, teaching privately and, most recently, recording courses for Truefire and the Roth Academy. He recently relocated to San Marcos, TX, to accept the jazz guitar teaching position at Texas State University.
