Australian-born, DC-based mezzo soprano Grace Kiver’s work as a singer, teacher, vocal coach, and collaborator has taken her across the country several times over. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Penn State University and a Master’s in Vocal Performance from the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. She has performed nationwide with choral groups such as Conspirare, Lyyra, Harmonia Stellarum, the Spoleto Festival Chorus, and the Cincinnati Vocal Arts Ensemble.
She is a workshop clinician with the Voces8 Foundation, and has appeared in concert as the alto soloist in J.S. Bach’s Magnificat, Charpentier’s Masse de Minuit, Ralph Vaughan Williams’ Serenade to Music, John Adams’ Grand Pianola Music, Vivaldi’s Gloria, and in a rare semi-staged performance of Hildegard von Bingen’s Ordo Virtutum. She recently joined the core roster of the Washington National Cathedral Choir, where she performs daily at Evensong services.
