Hannah Penzner

Los Angeles-based soprano Hannah Penzner studied at the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music at California State University, Long Beach. During her time there she performed in operas such as The Magic Flute, Elixir of Love, The Bartered Bride (Esmeralda) and Cherubin (La Comtesse), and won the Choir of the World with the Bob Cole Chamber Choir at the Eisteddfodd in Llangollen, Wales. In addition to Wales, Hannah has performed around the world in such places as Italy, Japan, Korea, and London. In 2020 she joined the roster of Chorosynthesis, and sings with Los Angeles choir Tonality. Hannah recorded on Tonality’s first and second albums, Sing About It and America Will Be, as well as on the soundtrack of Space Jam: A New Legacy. Hannah spends a majority of her time as section leader to the Schola Cantorum and cantor at Saint Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, and teaching private voice.
